BTOM: Prepare for import controls from 30 April ’24 (animal products)

This information session is relevant for all EU to GB importers of:

• products of animal origin (POAO) for human consumption
• germinal products
• composite products
• animal by-products

On 30 April 2024, some of the processes you follow to import these products will be changing under the border Target Operating Model. This session will provide you with the information that you need to prepare for these changes.

It will cover:

• types of checks that take place at a border control post
• groupage and transits
