The User Researcher at HMRC Borders and Trade is looking at opportunities to develop a new EMCS API for third-party software developers to use. We’re currently in the early stages of the project and are looking to learn about how you use the current EMCS API and what you need from the documentation.
We really need your help and insight to help us develop the new EMCS API.
We’re looking to run remote research sessions with software developers, the session will last no longer than 1 hour. We are looking to run these from the 20 to 25 July 2023 at a time suitable for you. However, if you cannot make these dates, we can be flexible.
What will be covered?
We want to see how you currently use the EMCS API and its documentation.
The key areas the interview will cover will be:
- Overview of your company
- Walk us step by step through how you currently use the EMCS API by sharing your screen
- Your experience with EMCS API documentation and other documentation if there is any, it would be good to show us some examples
You will need to be able to share your screen using a laptop or desktop computer. All the insight gathered from these interviews will help feed into the new service ensuring it meets the needs of developers like yourselves.
