We previously wrote to you in January to inform you of the scheduled implementation date for the Excise Trader Data System (ETDS). As previously discussed, this system will replace the current UK System of Exchange of Excise Data (UK SEED). Please note that no action is required on your part, as this is an internal change only.
We are scheduling this meeting on 10 March from 11:00 to 11:30 to check in with developers following the downtime. The Excise Movement Control System (EMCS) will be temporarily unavailable during the system transition from 6 pm on Friday, 7 March 2025, to 10 am on Monday, 10 March 2025.
The service availability page has been updated to reflect the downtime.
